Pakistan Swimming Federation
It is indeed a matter of immense pleasure for the Pakistan Swimming Federation to announce that during the Elective General Council Meeting of the FINA that was held in Barcelona, Spain on 26 July 2013, followed by the FINA Bureau Meeting that was held on 31 July 2013, Major (Retd) Majid Waseem, President Pakistan Swimming Federation has been elected as the Executive Member of the FINA Masters Committee. He already holds the posts of Chairman Asian Masters Committee and Associate Secretary General of the Asia Swimming Federation.
Meanwhile today Miss Anum Bandey broke the National Record in 200 M Breaststroke, New Record is 02:55.65 whereas old record was 02:57.54 (Lianna Swan). So far both Pakistani Girls combined together have smashed three National Records which a good sign for the Pakistan Swimming. |
