Dear Friends,
International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements. The day is celebrated each year on 08 March by women networks, corporations, charities, educational institutions, government body, political parties, media and communities.
I express my satisfaction that Pakistan Olympic Association is also contributing its part on this important day through its “Women and Sports Commission”. This day is significantly important when world recognizes the role and contributions of women in our lives. Women are the first teacher who nurture the leaders of tomorrow. The immense sacrifices and contributions that women make are appreciable and can cultivate socially acceptable values in the young general and thereby making a proud society. I appreciate the effort of POA Women Commission for bringing awareness about the role of women in the society.
