Subject: OLYMPIC SOLIDARITY - PROGRAMME ATHLETE CAREER TRANSITION - OPPORTUNITY FOR OLYMPIANS - MASTER IN SPORT ETHICS AND INTEGRITY (MAISI) 2021-2023
Dear Madam/ Sir,
It is informed that the world of sport and the integrity of sporting bodies are increasingly confronted to ethical problems at every level so it is essential to develop a coherent, professional response to these issues. Six renowned universities specialised in sport policies, governance and ethics have started an international collaboration to finally establish Sports Ethics and Integrity as a new, internationally recognised profession within the field of sports administration and governance in both public and private sectors through the Master’s degree MA in Sports Ethics and Integrity (MAiSI)
You will be pleased to know that in support of this idea, through the Olympic Solidarity “Athlete Career Transition” programme, IOC offers the possibility for a limited number of former OLYMPIANS to participate in this two-year Master’s degree. Olympic Solidarity will cover the tuition fees, accommodation, travel fees and student allowance for the entire duration of the studies for the selected candidates worldwide.
Please note that this is a long-term investment and it is very important to select candidates who are committed to complete the Master and have the eligible criteria since there are limited scholarships offered to all 206 NOCs worldwide. It is also important that the candidate should be involved within a National Federation or preferably within NOCs after the completion of his/her studies. Brochure of the subject Program attached is for further information please.
We would be grateful if you could submit your application (attached) only for an Olympian having a Bachelor’s degree & English language certificate (IELTS score 6.5, TOEFL score 90 or Cambridge) for non-native English speaker countries latest by 15 March 2021
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact.
Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.
Best regards,
Muhammad Khalid Mahmood
