KARACHI: Pakistan has invited Indian kabaddi team for a five-match series which they want to hold at Chichawatni in April, a top official of the Pakistan Kabaddi Federation (PKF) told The News on Saturday. “We have written a letter to the kabaddi authorities of India and hopefully they will give a feedback after the elections in the Indian Punjab,” PKF secretary Mohammad Sarwar said. He said that Indians are very much interested and hopefully they would give Pakistan a positive response and it would be a crowd-pulling series. He also revealed that the camp of the Pakistan team for the Asian Beach Games would start at Karachi in the last week of February. The 3rd Asian Beach Games are scheduled to be held from June 16-22 at the Chinese city of Haiyang. |
