KARACHI: Departmental players will not be eligible to feature in the Sindh Games to be held at Mirpurkhas from March 30 to April 1, The News learnt through a highly reliable source on Tuesday.
The decision was taken in a meeting here on Monday. The source said that the decision to exclude departmental players from the show will provide the chance to younger players to showcase their talent.
However, he said that there would be no age restriction for the athletes. During the meeting which was also attended by the Sindh Sports Minister, a six-member committee was assigned the task to finalise disciplines, budgetary issues and other relevant matters. |
