KARACHI: Universal Track & Field Academy (UTFA) has completed the basic athletics coaching course 2012 which it organised for physical instructors, sports teachers and athletics coaches.
The two-day course was conducted in collaboration with Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) at National Sports Training and Coaching Center. A total of 80 instructors, coaches and sports teachers enrolled in the course from different sports disciplines and institutions across the city, the UTFA spokesperson told ‘The News’ on Tuesday.
During the course, basics of track and field events were described theoretically and practically by director of training UTFA Imran Khan. Lectures were delivered on various aspects of track and field events, including coaching, nutrition, training, injuries and other necessities of the athletics.
