KARACHI: Pakistan’s senior football team will start training on Monday (today) at the Punjab Stadium in Lahore. Twenty-six players have been invited for the camp which is being held to keep them in better shape, although no international match could be arranged for FIFA friendly day.
Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) decided to postpone the camp for a few days before inviting again the players for the camp for ten days as desired by Serbian coach Zavisa. “Around seven players have reported today while the rest are on their way to Lahore and there are chances that tomorrow almost all the boys and coaching saff will be here to begin training,” a team official told ‘The News’ on Sunday. Nasir Ismail, Gohar Zaman and Aslam Khan are on the coaching panel being led by Zavisa. |
