KARACHI: Pakistan’s Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi and his partner Jean-Julien Roger downed experienced Frechman Richard Gasquet and Ivan Ljubicic (Croatia) in straight sets in their men’s doubles opening round match at the ABN Amro World Tennis Tournament in Rotterdam. Aisam and Roger displayed steely nerves in a tense opening set which they won 7-6 (4) on a tie-breaker and then went on to outclass their opponents 6-1 in the second set to enter the next round of the prestigious tournament.
