KARACHI: Pakistan Whites defeated Afghanistan while Pakistan Greens overwhelmed Nepal in their openers of the International Invitational Beach Handball tournament which started at the Agriculture University in Faisalabad on Thursday.
In the first game, Pakistan Whites defeated Afghanistan 2-0 with the set scores of 18-6, 19-2 while in the other match Pakistan Greens whacked Nepal 2-0 with the set scores of 22-10, 28-10.
Earlier, Vice-Chancellor of the Agriculture University Faisalabad Professor Iqrar Ahmad Khan inaugurated the event which will conclude on Saturday (tomorrow).
On Friday (today), Nepal will face Afghanistan while Pakistan Greens will take on Pakistan Whites.
