KARACHI: Pakistan lost 3-1 to New Zealand in their second match of the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup on Sunday in Ipoh, Malaysia.
The Greenshirts were down 2-0 at half-time after goals in the 8th and 10th minute by New Zealand.
Haseem Khan scored for Pakistan a few minutes into the second half to make the score 2-1 but the Greenshirts could not do much else as New Zealand, who had previously drubbed India 5-1, scored their third goal to maintain their lead.
Pakistan had defeated Argentina 4-2 in their first match and play their next match against Korea on Monday.
