KARACHI: The friendly match between Marta Women Football Club and Star Women FC ended in a goalless draw here at the Aga Khan Gymkhana Ground on Friday. After no goal was scored in the scheduled time, extra time was given, but still the deadlock could not be broken and both sides shared the trophy. Director of Oil and Gas SAITA Pakistan Fujita was the chief guest who gave away trophy to both the teams. Fujita said that women football could progress in the country provided it is strongly supported by the government and financial institutions. |
