A meeting of the POA Sports Commission and representatives of the participating units of the National Games was held on Sunday the 26 August, 2012 at 10:30 at Olympic House, Lahore under the chairmanship of Syed Aqil Shah, Chairman of the Commission. The following attended the meeting:-

After detailed discussion the following decisions were taken unanimously:-

1. DATES OF 32^ND NATIONAL GAMES AT LAHORE BY PUNJAB OLYMPIC ASSOCIATION

The dates of the National Games are 16-22 October-2012. The Punjab Olympic Association shall confirm the holding of the Games by 5^th September, 2012 and the 1st meeting for these Games shall be convened by the Punjab Olympic Association on 10^th September,2012 to work out the further technical details and modalities. In this meeting representatives of National Federations whose sports are included in the Games alongwith representatives of all the participating units. The participating units in this regard are Provincial Olympic Association of Punjab, KPK, Sind, Baluchistan as well as Islamabad Olympic Association and FATA alongwith the Services/Departmental Organizations of the Pak Army, Pak Navy, Pak Air Force, Pak WAPDA, Pak Railways, Pak Police and HEC.

3. STRENGTH OF PROVINCIAL CONTINGENT

The strength of each of the Provincial Contingents (Men & Women) as decided in this meeting is as under:-

i. Punjab Olympic Association being host shall be eligible to participate in maximum number of sports/discipline and events included in the programme of the Games.

iv.	Baluchistan	300
v.	Islamabad	100
vi.	FATA	100

4. REVISED RULES OF THE NATIONAL GAMES EFFECTIVE FROM 2012

The meeting discussed and decided the Revised Rules of the National Games applicable to the 32^nd National Games 2012. The rules after their approval of the President, will be circulated to all concerned by the POA Secretariat.

All the participating Units of the National Games assured the Punjab Olympic Association of their cooperation and full support for the successful conduct of the Games.
