Pakistan National Football team is leaving for Nepal and Maldives on Tuesday morning, February 05, 2013 through QR 333 at 0325 Hrs PST (03:25 AM) from Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore to take part in friendly international football matches between Nepal vs Pakistan on 6th & 9th February, 2013 and Pakistan vs Maldives on 12th & 14th February, 2013.This exposure of the National team will help to develop its squad for participation in AFC Challenge Cup-2014 Qualifiers is going to be organized in March, 2013 at Kyrgyzstan.
According to the press release issued here by PFF, Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat, President PFF wished all out success for the national team. He hoped they shall play in an outstanding manner as the peoples of Pakistan are looking for a victory by their players. He expressed his satisfaction on their training and the ability to play well.
The detail of National football team contingents are as follows: Jaffar Khan (Captain, Goal Keeper), Samar Ishaq (Vice Captain, DF), Saquib Hanif (GK), Yousaf Ejaz Butt (GK), Naveed Ahmed (DF), Kamran Khan (DF), Muhammad Ahmed (DF), Muhammad Hameed (DF), Shabir Khan (DF), Yaqoob Ejaz Butt (DF), Faisal Iqbal (MF), Muhammad Adil (MF), Yasir Afridi (MF), Kaleem Ullah (FW), Muhammad Mujahid (FW), Hassan Bashir (FW) Saeed Ahmed (FW) and Muhammad Ali (FW).
The officials of the National team are Milosavljevic Zavisa (Head Coach/Team Manager), Shahzad Anwar (Assistant Coach), Muhammad Aslam Khan (Goal Keeper Coach) and Kamran Mehdi (Physio/Assistant Manager).
