The Pakistan green won the South Asian Beach handball Championship after winning all league matches concluded on 4th April at sand court University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. Pakistan white won two matches , Afghanistan won one match whereas Nepal lost all matches but organizing committee declared Pakistan Green 1st, Afghanistan 2nd and Nepal 3rd in good will gesture.
In the end Syed Muhammad Abid Qadri, Additional I.G. Police and Patron In Pakistan Handball Federation /Chief guest distributed the gold medals and trophies whereas Dr. Rana Abdul Jabbar CEO.FESCO distributed the silver medals and Shields and Ashar Hamid acting CPO ,Faisalabad distributed the bronze medals. Mr. Hazrat Hussain and Mr. Tahir Ali from Pakistan green were declared the best player and best goal keeper respectively and received RS 5000/- each .
Mr. Muhammad Imran and Mr. Dabeer Hussain , senior coaches/ Referees also received special gold medals from Chief Guest in recognition of their outstanding performance as coach and Referee.
Nepal team left Wagah border on today whrereas Afghanistan team will leave tomorrow after playing indoor Handball match on today at Faisalabad with the local team.
