Korean Air signed up as a Prestige Partner for the 17th Asian Games in Incheon, Korea, in 2014.

Incheon, Korea: Korean Air signed up as a Prestige Partner for the 17th Asian Games in Incheon, Korea, in 2014 at a signing ceremony on Thursday. The three parties involved were represented by Chang Hoon Chi, President and COO of Korean Air; Kwon Kyung Sang, Secretary General of the Incheon Asian Games Organising Committee; and Lt Gen (ret) Syed Arif Hasan, Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia and President of the Pakistan Olympic Association.

A Memorandum of Understanding was agreed earlier but Korean Air became the first Prestige Partner for the 17th Asian Games in 2014 and also for the 4th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in 2013.

Also signed up is Tissot as a Partner, while Prestige Partner contracts are expected to be completed before the end of the year with Samsung, SK and Shinhan Bank. The 4th AIMAG will run from June 29 to July 6, 2013, and the 17th Asiad from September 19 to October 2014.
