PHF names probables for Junior Asia Cup

KARACHI: Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) on Wednesday announced 25 probables for 7th Junior Asia Cup to be played in Malaysia from May 3-13.

The Junior Asia Cup is the qualifier for Asian teams for the Junior World Cup. Asian teams are assured four places in the finals to be held in 2013. The camp of the junior players will begin on February 20 at National Hockey Stadium in Lahore.
Rana Mujahid will be the manager-cum-head coach while Danish Kaleem, Ahmed Alam and Anjum Saeed will assist him. Abu Zar Umrao will be the video analyst and Asad Abbas will be the team doctor.
Probables: Goalkeepers: Amjad, Ali Haider. Fullbacks: Waseem Abbas, Muhammad Khalid, Aleem Bilal. Halves: Zohaib Ashraf, Sohaib, M Bilal Khan, Fahad Khan. Forwards: Ayub Ali, Muhammad Dilber, M Arslan Qadir, Mudassar Ali, Ali Raza, Hafiz Rizwan, Abdul Qayyum Dogar, Hafiz Umer, Adnan Anwar, Asad, Javed, Karim Khan, Ahmed Zubair, Muhammad Umar, Jaffar and Zohaib Khan.
