ISLAMABAD: Imad Amer thrashed Nofil Kaleem in the second round of Boys U18 ingles event of Coco Cola National Junior Ranking Tennis Championship to confirm his presence in the quarterfinals here Monday at PTF Tennis Complex.
Imad recorded a straight-set 6-2, 6-2 win. Kashanul Haq eased into quarters after he got a walkover Imtiaz Khalil. Saad Noor Sumar also cruised into the quarterfinals of the event after he dispatched Adnan Amer, registering a formidable 6-0, 6-1 win.
Boys U18 singles second round: Raja Shahid bt Mazhar 6-2, 6-1; Imad Amer bt Nofil Kaleem 6-2, 6-2; Kashan ul Haq w/o Imtiaz Khalil; Saad Noorsumar bt Adnan Amer 6-0, 6-1; Arham Atique bt Hamza Bin Asif 6-1, 6-1.
