KARACHI: Swiss tennis legend Roger Federer has said that he would like to visit Pakistan to meet his fans. In an exclusive interview with Geo News in Dubai where Federer is featuring in an international tournament, the former world number one spoke on a variety of issues.

Federer who has won a record number of Grand Slams said that he was delighted to know that he had many fans in Pakistan. Asked by Geo News anchor Altamish Jiwa about his interest in cricket, the Swiss star mentioned that he gets his cricketing knowledge from his mom who hails from South Africa and that he enjoys watching the game every time he is in Australia or England as cricket is more popular in these places. He said he feels it is his duty to reach out to people less fortunate than him so that he can give something back to society and have a positive impact on kids who idolise him.
