KARACHI: Sindh beat Balochistan, while Army crushed Islamabad as the 10th National Women’s Netball Championship commenced at LUMS on Monday. Sindh defeated Balochistan 9-3 with Ayesha playing a key role in the victory. In another match, Army proved too tough for Islamabad, dismantling them 28-0. Amama Qadri and Qurrat-ul-Ain were the leading scorers for the winners. In another tie, WAPDA edged past Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 17-6 with Robina emerging as the top scorer. Punjab whacked LUMS 6-2, while LGS defeated FATA 2-0. |
