PAKISTAN JU-JITSU FEDERATION
The caretaker Government of Punjab will host a reception to encourage the Medal holders of Ju-Jitsu event in the Punjab International Sports Festival 2012 held last year in Lahore. Ju-Jitsu Players achieved 31 medals in the said event out of 13 countries participated in the event.
Chief Minister Punjab Najam Sethi will award the cash prizes and certificates among the winners on Monday 3rd June 2013 at the CM Office. The officials of PJJF & Sports Board Punjab will be attending the same. Beside it, Sports Minister Punjab Mrs.Salima Hashmi and President Asian Ju-Jitsu Federation Khalil Ahmed Khan will be attending the ceremony on special invitation.
Needless to mention here that Pakistan won 8 Gold,9Silver and 14 Bronze in the Punjab International Sports Festival 2012. The sports Circles have appreciated this gesture of Punjab Government and ask the federal Government to come forward to acknowledge the achievements of Ju-Jitsu sports in the International circle particularly in getting the title of Asian Champion since 2006 onward. |
