KARACHI: Azam Sports held Salaar Welfare Centre to a 2-2 draw in their match of the 2012 All Karachi Engro Vopak Football League held here at the Jam Stadium on Wednesday.
Salaar Welfare Centre were the first to settle down when Amin Chotto scored from a tight angle in the 21st minute. However, following a series of rallies, Furqan Ullah brought the parity for Azam Sports, capitalising on a fine pass from the left-out three minutes from half time.
After the breather, it were Salaar Welfare Centre once again who took the lead through an excellent field effort from Abdul Halim in the 75th minute. But Azam Sports, featuring a couple of fine strikers, managed to level the game through Aqeel Khan four minutes from full time. |
