The Asian Gymnastics Union and the International Gymnastics Federation have recognised the mid-term elections held recently in the Pakistan Gymnastics Federation (PGF).In the elections, Ahmed Ali Rajpoot was elected as president replacing Khawaja Farooq Saeed.

The elections were held last month after the general council meeting had imposed a five-year ban on Khawaja Farooq.
