Press Release - Pakistan Baseball Team Won Gold in Punjab Internatioanl Sports Festival 2012 Back To Main

Dear Sir,
Afghanistan, Nepal, Sri Lank and Pakistan participated in Punjab International Baseball Festival 2012. Afghanistan got 4th and Nepal on 3rd position in the event.
Final Match of Punjab International Baseball Festival 2012 was played between Pakistan and Sri Lanka on November 13, 2012 at Cricket Stadium, Model Town, Lahore.
Mr. Shaukat Javed former Inspector General Police Punjab / Vice President Pakistan Olympic Association / President Pakistan Federation Baseball was the Chief Guest.
Pakistan won the match by 12 – 2. Sumair Zawar (2) M. Asif (2) Umair Bhatti (2) are the main scorer for Pakistan and Iresh Kosla (1) and Chamara Piries (1) score for Sri Lanka. Nepal got 3rd position in the event.
Chief Guest Mr. Shaukat Javed distributed the medals and trophies among teams.
