Golf Tournaments for Professionals & Amateurs by Bank Al Habib Limited Back To Main

KARACHI: “Rashid D. Habib Memorial National Professional Golf Tournament” will be held from 14th to 16th February, 2012 at Karachi Golf Club. The 11th year of this prestigious golf tournament has taken a major leap forward by opening entry to all eligible Professional Golfers in the country.

The tournament offers attractive Prize Money of Rs. 1,000,000/- and features many professional players including top five ranking golfers of the country. Mohammad Shabbir Iqbal — Islamabad Golf Club Matloob Ahmed — Lahore Gymkhana, Muhammad Munir — Islamabad Golf Club, Shahid Javed Khan — Royal Palm, Lahore and Muhammad Tariq — Islamabad Golf Club.

The Tournament is being sponsored by Bank AL Habib Limited, which has completed 20 years of successful operation in January 2012. Professionals are also allowed the free use of the Practice range for the entire period of the Tournament. In addition to the Prize Money, the Bank will be paying the top 5 rated professionals in the Country Rs. 50,000 each to encourage their participation.

Following this tournament, the Bank has also organized the “Hamid D. Habib Memorial Golf Tournament” for Amateur Golfers to be held from 18th February, 2012 with a Final Prize Distribution Ceremony on 19th February, 2012.
