PHF Hopes to Host Four-Nation Tournament In March-April Back To Main

KARACHI: Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) is set to host a four-nation hockey tournament in Lahore in March-April, PHF secretary Asif Bajwa told PPI.
“We have invited both Asian and European teams and have got some positive response,” he said. “We cannot disclose the names of the teams because teams are not finalised yet.”
The secretary said that the team need international exposure to improve and
prepare themselves ahead of the all-important London Olympics. “National Championship will be held from January 26 followed by national team camp in Karachi. After that we will organise the four-nation tournament,” he added.
“Azlan Shah Cup in Malaysia in May will be the last event in which our players participate before Olympics.”
