Pak players shine in junior squash Back To Main

KARACHI: All players of Pakistani team reached the third round of men’s individual Doha WSF Junior Championships 2012 in Doha on Sunday.

In the round two matches, Hamza Bukhari beat compatriot Shahjahan Khan 16-14, 11-6, 11-4, while 5/8 seed Nasir Iqbal won against Germany’s Lucas Wirths 11-3, 11-5, 11-4.

Similarly, 3/4 seed Danish Atlas Khan smashed Mason Ripka of the United States 11-6, 11-1, 11-3, and 21/24 seed Tayyab Aslam overpowered Josue Enriquez of Guatemala 11-2, 11-5, 11-6.

On Monday (today), Hamza Bukhari is to face Englands Richie Fallows and Nasir Iqbal will play against Cheuk Yan Tang of Hong Kong. Danish Atlas is scheduled to play against Josimar Silva of Brazil, while Tayyab Aslam will face Jan Van Den Herrewegen of Belgium.
