Table Tennis Championship 2011 will be held from January 23-28 here at the Islamia Club Gymnasium.

The organising secretary Arif Khan said on Tuesday that this is the first time that 22 events will be held in the championship which include men’s and women’s team events, men’s and women’s singles rankings (for KTTA players only), women’s doubles, mixed doubles, boys singles/doubles (Under-18), girls singles, girls doubles (Under-18), mixed doubles (Under-18), boys singles/boys doubles (Under-15), girls singles/girls doubles (Under-15), boys singles/doubles (Under-12), girls singles/doubles (Under-12). Besides these events, a men’s singles and women’s singles events will also be held in which the top eight-ranked men and top eight women players of Karachi will compete with players of other affiliated units of the Pakistan Table Tennis Federation (PTTF) residing in Karachi.

All the players who are interested in participating in the championship are requested to send their entries either through their clubs, institutes or firms or contact the organising secretary Arif Khan at the Islamia Club from 5:00pm to 10:00pm.
