Commonwealth Gold Medalist Pakistan Team Returned Home at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore on 01st December 2013 at 23:00 Hrs at midnight by Thai Air flight after successful Participation in Commonwealth Masters Weightlifting Championships 24-30 November at Penang, Malaysia. Amjad Amin Butt won Gold Medal in 94 Kg Class and Ilyas Butt won Gold Medal competiting in 105 Kg class.

It is a great honor for Pakistan that Hafiz Imran Butt from Pakistan, who holds the office of Executive Board member of Asian and Commonwealth Weightlifting Federations, supervised the Commonwealth Championships as Member of Jury. Hafiz Imran Butt is also Category 1 Referee of International Weightlifting Federation and IWF Nominated Referee for Olympics and Asian Games.

Hafiz Imran Butt, along with Commonwealth Gold medalists was warmly welcomed at Lahore Airport by Weightlifting Federation officials and sports lovers.
