Volleyball Competition – 3rd AYG Bahrain 2025
The Pakistan Volleyball team delivered an outstanding performance against Uzbekistan in the Preliminary Round match held at Isa Sports City. Pakistan won convincingly, securing a 3-0 victory.
Triathlon Competition – 3rd AYG Bahrain 2025
Ms. Aisha Waqas represented Pakistan in the Girls’ Individual Super Sprint Final held at the Sofitel Hotel. She completed the race in 46 minutes and 26 seconds, finishing in 22nd position.
Taekwondo Competition – 3rd AYG Bahrain 2025
Pakistan’s Taekwondo athletes competed in multiple Recognized Poomsae events at Exhibition World Bahrain, Hall 2.
Ms. Kaneez Zainab faced Aibekova Datkaiym (Kyrgyzstan) in the Girls’ Individual Round of 16, losing narrowly 7.760–7.840.
Mr. Syed Muhammad Zohaib Qadri competed against Gao Zixuan (China) in the Boys’ Individual Quarterfinals and was defeated 7.900–8.100.
In the Mixed Pair Finals, Syed Muhammad Zohaib Qadri and Kaneez Zainab faced Shahriari/Naghiee Zeinab Behdad (Iran), losing 7.780–8.450.
Both athletes showed strong technique and represented Pakistan with determination.
Athletics Competition – 3rd AYG Bahrain 2025
Ms. Iqra Riaz competed in the Girls’ 100m Round 1 Heat 1 at Bahrain National Stadium, recording a personal best time of 13.09 seconds.
Mr. Ghulam Murtaza participated in the Boys’ 100m Round 1 Heat 1 at the same venue, achieving a personal best time of 11.20 seconds.
Both athletes showed promising performances representing Pakistan in their respective events.
Boxing Competition – 3rd AYG Bahrain 2025
Mr. Jayyad Hussain delivered an impressive performance, winning his bout convincingly with a score of 5–0 while Mr. Huzaifa Raheel fought valiantly but lost his bout with a score of 4–1.
Visit of POA NOC Delegation to the Pakistan Embassy in Bahrain- 3rd AYG Bahrain 2025
A four-member delegation of the National Olympic Committee Pakistan, led by the President of the Pakistan Olympic Association (POA), visited the Pakistan Embassy in Bahrain. The delegation was warmly received by the Ambassador of Pakistan and other embassy officials. During the visit, both sides discussed matters of mutual interest, including the promotion of sports diplomacy and enhanced collaboration among the POA, Pakistan’s diplomatic missions and Bahrain. The visit reflected the shared commitment to strengthening institutional ties and promoting a positive image of Pakistan through sports at the international level.
Golf Competition – 3rd AYG Bahrain 2025
Pakistan’s golfers competed in Round 1 at the Royal Golf Club, with the Boys’ Team placing 6th and the Girls’ Team finishing 10th. Individually, Mr. Shahmeer Maajid and Mr. Abdul Moez Khan tied for the top boys’ spot at 12th (74, +2), while Mr. Azaan Usman was 23rd. For the girls, Ms. Bushra Fatima finished 19th, followed by Ms. Sara Amin Khan (29th) and Ms. Amina Tiwana (31st).
Pakistan Secures First Medal of the Games in Kabaddi – 3rd AYG Bahrain 2025
Pakistan’s Kabaddi team achieved a remarkable milestone by winning the bronze medal, securing the country’s first medal of the Games. The team displayed outstanding skill, determination, and teamwork throughout the competition, demonstrating the strength and spirit of Pakistani athletes on the international stage. Their performance not only brought pride to the nation but also highlighted Pakistan’s growing presence in traditional sports such as Kabaddi.
