MEMOS XXIX – EXECUTIVE MASTERS IN SPORTS ORGANIZATION MANAGEMENT (AUGUST 2026 – SEPTEMBER 2027)
1. We are pleased to inform that the IOC Olympic Solidarity has once again invited NOC Pakistan to submit applications for the International Executive Training Course in Sports Management Program (MEMOS XXIX 2026–2027). This prestigious program is designed to assist professionals working in national or international sports bodies to develop the knowledge and skills required to better manage their organizations.
2. MEMOS is a comprehensive executive master’s program comprising a combination of online sessions and four face-to-face residential sessions as outlined below. It enables participants to directly apply newly acquired knowledge within their organizations. Full participation in all sessions is mandatory. The schedule is as follows:
• August 2026: Online Session (Session 1)
• 05-16 September 2026: Olympia, Greece (Module 1 & 2)
• December 2026: Online Session (Session 2)
• 31 Jan – 07 Feb 2027: Lima, Peru (Module 3)
• April 2027: Online Session (Session 3)
• 02 – 12 May 2026: Split, Croatia (Modules 4 & 5)
• Project Defense and Graduation (Session 4)
• 8 – 11 September 2027: Lausanne (Switzerland)
3. The eligibility criteria for MEMOS XXIX are as follows:
• Hold a relevant university degree or demonstrate equivalent professional experience as judged by the MEMOS selection committee.
• Possess significant management experience in a sports organization.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to continue contributing to your organization and the national sports system.
• Have excellent written and spoken command of English.

4. Olympic Solidarity will cover the tuition fees (USD 7500/-paid directly to the university, economy class airfare (most direct route, purchased as early as possible in advance of all sessions) to attend in-person classes; and a contribution towards accommodation costs (for two of the four sessions).
5. In view of the above, you are invited to nominate a suitable candidate for MEMOS XXIX and submit the following documents no later than 15 April 2026:
• Completed MEMOS Candidature Form (copy attached)
• Detailed Curriculum Vitae.
• Letter of support from the candidate’s sport organization.
• Digital passport-size photograph.
• Copy of the valid passport.
• Copies of all educational transcripts and work experience certificates.
• Departmental No Objection Certificate (if the candidate is employed by any service/department)
6. Incomplete applications and/or nominations received after the deadline shall not be considered. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews, and one candidate will be recommended to the President, Pakistan Olympic Association, for final approval.
7. The selected candidate shall be required to sign an undertaking on stamp paper committing to complete the programme by fulfilling all academic requirements. In case of non-compliance, the candidate shall be liable to reimburse the full course fee, airfare, and accommodation expenses, duly certified by the nominating Federation/Organization.
8. Furthermore, the selected candidate shall be required to submit a surety bond of PKR 2.5 million, on stamp paper, to ensure return to Pakistan upon completion of each session, duly verified by the nominating Federation/Organization.
