Volleyball Competition – 3rd AYG Bahrain 2025
Pakistan secured a silver medal at the 3rd Asian Youth Games in Bahrain, following a hard-fought final against Iran. The national volleyball team delivered a remarkable campaign, demonstrating discipline, skill and competitive excellence on the international stage.
Swimming Competition – 3rd AYG Bahrain 2025
Aryaan Rehman Khawar finished in 2:15.00 and Muhammad Dayyan Kashif in 2:05.20. Shanzay Tabish Bari competed in the Girls’ 200m Freestyle, while Raaqiah Aqeel completed the Girls’ 100m Backstroke in 1:22.35. In the Boys’ 100m Breaststroke, Mikail Azfar Mir recorded 1:11.79 and Muhammad Dayyan Kashif 1:10.92, while Daniya Bhatia finished the Girls’ 100m Breaststroke in 1:33.92. The mixed 4x100m Medley Relay team of Raaqiah Aqeel, Mikail Azfar Mir, Syed M. Daniyal Hatim, and Shanzay Tabish Bari completed their heat in 4:43.62, showcasing strong efforts as the competition continues.
Ju-jitsu Competition – 3rd AYG Bahrain 2025
Muhammad Saqib competed in the Boys’ -56kg category. He won his preliminary round against ALNAJAR H (UAE) with a decisive 50-0 score, advancing to the second round, where he was defeated by ASSETULY Mukhammadmamay (Kazakhstan) 9-2. In the Boys’ -62kg category, Sadam Khan competed in the preliminary round but lost his match 50-0. Both athletes displayed determination and skill throughout their bouts.
Wrestling Competition – 3rd AYG Bahrain 2025
Muhammad Abdul Rehman competed in the Men’s Freestyle 65kg category at the Exhibition World Bahrain, Hall 7. He faced ALIEV Shokhiddin (Uzbekistan) in the qualification round. Despite a determined effort, Muhammad Abdul Rehman lost the bout by 6-0.
