HEARTFELT CONGRATULATIONS ON TEAM PAKISTAN’S VICTORY IN THE ASIAN MEN’S U-16 VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIP 2025

Dear Chairman,
Dear President,
Dear Secretary General,

On behalf of the Pakistan Olympic Association, we extend our warmest congratulations to the outstanding young athletes of Pakistan’s Under-16 Men’s Volleyball Team on their historic triumph at the 2025 Asian Men’s U-16 Volleyball Championship.

These remarkable young players have brought immense pride to the nation through their skill, determination, and unwavering spirit. Their victory—secured with a commanding performance in the final—reflects a level of maturity, composure, and passion that far exceeds their years. They have emerged not only as champions, but as shining symbols of Pakistan’s sporting future, inspiring countless others with their achievement.

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to Head Coach Kifayatullah and the entire coaching and support staff, whose expert guidance and steady leadership were instrumental in the team’s success. Special recognition is due for the standout individual performances that defined this campaign: Faizan Ullah, named both Most Valuable Player and Best Outside Hitter; Muhammad Junaid, awarded Best Opposite Hitter; and Abdullah Wahab, honoured as Best Middle Blocker. Our gratitude further extends to the Pakistan Volleyball Federation for its steadfast commitment to nurturing young talent and building a strong foundation for the sport. This momentous victory—coupled with qualification for the 2026 FIVB Boys’ U-17 World Championship—stands as a testament to the Federation’s vision and tireless work.

We are also pleased to share that, on the recommendation of the Pakistan Olympic Association (and following endorsement from the FIVB) Olympic Solidarity has once again approved the Team Support Grant for the sport of Volleyball. This encouraging reaffirmation of support reflects growing confidence in the sport’s continued development. The grant, approved through to Los Angeles 2028, provides a meaningful boost to the athlete pathway, strengthening the foundation for our young volleyball players as they work toward future international success and set their sights on the Olympic stage.

Once again, we salute these young champions, their families, their mentors, and all those who contributed to this proud chapter in our national story. May this triumph be the first of many on the world stage.

With warmest regards and every good wish.
