IOC Diploma in Sports Physical Therapies (2025-2027)

1. IOC Diploma in Sports Physical Therapies is a Distance Learning, part-time basis, running for a period of six months from October of each year, and takes two years to complete. The aims and outcomes of this program is to provide students with detailed knowledge of the scientific underpinning of the practice of sports physical therapies, to promote understanding of current best practice in sports physical therapies, to make students aware of the practical issues involved in the practice of sports physical therapies ,to train students in research methods relevant to the study of sports physical therapy ,to develop skills in written communication of original scientific material

2. The Program will begin on October 1, 2025, written examination and end of Part 1 will be in April 2026 whereas Part 2 will begin on October 1, 2026 and written examination and end of program in April 2027. 3. The Olympic Solidarity scholarship for this training covers tuition fees. Any other costs (such as internet connection, printing of course material, etc.) will need to be covered by the candidate.

Entry requirements

4. Students enrolling for this program will normally be in possession of a degree in Physical Therapy (Physiotherapy) or Athletic Training from a recognised University and will be eligible for professional registration in countries where such registration is recognised.

5. The language of instruction will be English, and students whose native language is not English should provide evidence of competence in English, e.g. IELTS at 6 or above, GCSE or equivalent in English language. The following list contains the main English language qualifications which are acceptable pre-requisites for entry onto this Diploma Program. Other English Language Qualifications held by applicants will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the Program Directors or Academic Admissions Board after we have received an application.

UK Based O-level, GCSE or Standard Grade English – Grade C or above
International GCSE English as a Second Language – Grade C or above
International Baccalaureate (IB) – Grade 4 minimum in English
CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) – B2 (Upper Intermediate) or above
Cambridge English Language Assessment with a minimum score of 160
Duolingo with a minimum score of 105
IELTS with a minimum score of Band 6
TOEFL iBT with a minimum score of 68
TOEIC with a minimum overall score of 650

6. Foregoing, above it is highly recommended that you may nominate suitable candidate for the subject course send the following documents by 20 August 2025:

· Copy/ Evidence of competence in English as mentioned above
