1. We are pleased to inform that the IWG 2026 Women in Sport Mentorship Programme, linked to the IWG Global Summit on Gender Equality in Sport, will be held from 9 to 11 July 2026 in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

2. The IWG Global Summit is the world’s leading forum on gender equality in sport, bringing together international leaders, policymakers, researchers, athletes, and practitioners. The programme includes keynote sessions, workshops, forums, research presentations, and networking, focusing on leadership, investment, participation, visibility, and innovation.

3. Selected candidates/NOCs will be required to participate in a six-month online mentoring programme (three months before and three months after the Summit), based on a peer-to-peer model aligned with IOC Gender Equality priority areas. Based on a gender equality maturity assessment conducted by the IOC Gender Equality & Inclusion team, NOCs may participate as mentors or mentees. All participating NOCs will be required to submit a Gender Equality Action Plan for approval and implementation.

4. The International Olympic Committee, through Olympic Solidarity’s Olympic Values Programme, will offer a limited number of scholarships. Each NOC is eligible for one scholarship only, with priority given to NOCs from low- and middle-income countries, subject to an appropriate mentor–mentee ratio. The scholarship covers economy airfare, local transport, accommodation (8–12 July 2026), visa fees, and conference registration.

5. In this regard, National Sports Federations are invited to nominate one eligible candidate by 10 February 2026, along with the following documents:
