The Pakistan Kabaddi team competed against Bangladesh in the Preliminary Round at Isa Sports City, concluding the match with a score of 29-56.
Opening Ceremony – 3rd AYG Bahrain 2025
On 22nd October 2025, the Pakistan contingent proudly participated in the Opening Ceremony of the 3rd Asian Youth Games held at the Exhibition World Bahrain. The event marked a spectacular start to the Games, with athletes from 45 National Olympic Committees (NOCs) parading into the venue.
Leading the Pakistan contingent were the flag bearers, Mr. Muhammad Irfan (Volleyball) and Ms. Kaneez Zainab (Taekwondo), who carried the national flag with pride and dignity. The team was warmly received by the international audience, reflecting the spirit of sportsmanship and unity.
The ceremony featured impressive cultural performances, the official lighting of the Games flame, and the speeches by the dignitaries, emphasizing youth empowerment, peace, and regional solidarity. The games were formally opened by HH Shaikh Nasser Bin Hamad.
