Double Silver for Pakistan: Wrestling Stars Inam and Asad Ullah Shine at Sanya 2026

SANYA, China – Pakistan’s wrestling squad has concluded a historic campaign at the 6th Asian Beach Games, bringing home two Silver medals and securing a top-four finish in a third category.

In a display of elite athleticism, Muhammad Inam (90kg) and Muhammad Asad Ullah (80kg) both advanced to their respective Gold Medal finals after going undefeated through the group and knockout stages. In two highly competitive final bouts against formidable opponents from Iran, both Pakistani wrestlers fought valiantly to secure Silver medals for their country.

In the 70kg category, Muhammad Abdullah delivered a heroic performance to reach the medal rounds. After a grueling series of matches, he competed in the Bronze Medal fixture against Kyrgyzstan, ultimately finishing in 4th place.
