Welcome to the Pakistan Karate Federation

Pakistan Karate Federation is the national governing body to develop and promote the sport of Karate in the Country. The Federation is the member organization of the World Karate Federation (WKF) and Asian Karatedo Federation (AKF).

Mr. Nasim Qureshi and Mr. Farman Ahmed have been qualified as Judge at Asian level.

 

 

Achievements:

  • Won one Gold, two Silver and five Bronze medals in 8th South Asian Federation Games, held in Katmandu, Nepal 1999.
  • Won seven Gold and one Silver medal in 9th South Asian Federation Games, held in Islamabad, Pakistan 2004.
  • Won five Gold, two Silver and four Bronze medals in 10th South Asian Games, held in Colombo, Sri Lanka 2006.
  • Won one Gold, two Silver and six Bronze medals in 11th South Asian Games, held in Dhaka, Bangladesh 201.
  • Pakistani Karate player Mr. Saadi Abbas won the one Gold medal in 5th Commonwealth Karate Championship held in South Africa 2009.
  • 19th World Karate Championship held in Tokyo, Japan 2008. Mr. Saadi Abbas qualified up to Quarter Final and ranked 7 out of 83 participating countries.
  • Mr. Saddi Abbas won one Bronze medal in 22nd Bosporus Cup Karate Tournament held in Turkey 2009.  
  • Won seven Gold four Silver and four Bronze medals in 1st South Asian Karate Championship held in New Delhi, India 2011.
  • Pakistan Karate player Mr. Saadi Abbas won one Gold medal in 10th Asian Karate Championship held in Quanghou, China 2011.

 

4th South Asian Karate Championship 2017 Sri Lanka

PAKISTAN WON 6 GOLD, 8 SILVER AND 11 BRONZE MEDALS IN 4TH SOUTH ASIAN KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP COLOMBO, SRI LANKA.
 
Pakistan Karate Team won 6 Gold 8 Silver & 11 Bronze medals in 4th South Asian Cadet/Junior/U-21 & Senior (Male/Female) Karate Championships 3-5 August 2017 Colombo, Sri Lanka.  Six South Asian countries India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Bhutan participated in the Championship.

Pakistan’s Shahbaz Khan, Naseer Ahmed, Saadi Abbas, Nargis, Kulsoom & Baz Muhammad won gold medals. Pakistan’s Baz Muhammad & Kulsoom made hat-trick by winning 3rd time in South Asian Karate Championships, while Naseer Ahmed & Saadi Abbas retained their titles. New talent also being emerged in juniors Shahbaz Khan and Nargis won gold medals and uplifted the Pakistani flag. Team was headed by Mr. Muhammad Jahangir (Chairman Pakistan Karate Federation. Beside the marvelous performance of players 7 referee / judges & Coaches of Pakistan’s Mr. Ghulam Ali, Mr. Wasif Ali, Mr. Irfan Ullah Khan’ Mr. Shah Muhammad Shan, Mr. Shah Faisal, Mr. Imtiaz Ali, Mr. Muhammad Kashif passed the Asian Karate Federation’s exam for Judges & Coaches and became Asian Qualified Referee/judges & Coaches which is a great achievement.

Mr. Shah Muhammad Shan and Khalid Noor were the coaches of Pakistan karate team who performed excellent in the championship. Following are the achievements of Pakistani players:-
