Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) is the national governing body to develop and promote the sport of Football in the Country. PFF is affiliated with the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). PFF started its functions since the independence of the Pakistan in 1947. Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, founder of the nation, was the Patron-in-Chief of the Federation.
In 1950, the national football team visited Iran and Iraq and it was their first experience at the international level. The national football team had the honor to participate in the 2nd Asian Games, Manila (Philippines) and 3rd Asian Games, Tokyo.
