Pakistan Olympic Association is deeply shocked and aggrieved to hear the news of sad demise of Syed Amir Hamza Gilani, a veteran athlete and Director General, Pakistan Sports Board. In an emergent meeting under the chairmanship of Lt Gen Retired Syed Arif Hasan, President, POA at 80-P, Johar Town, Lahore, the following members of Olympic Family expressed a deep sense of grief extending their sympathies and condolence to the bereaved family and the Pakistan Sports Board. May Allah Almighty shower His blessings on the departed soul with heavenly peace and grant courage and fortitude to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss:-
