The seminar on Sports Medicine and Protection of Clean Athletes has concluded today. In today's proceedings, speakers highlighted various important fields as under  Physiotherapy (Dr Haseeb Ullah Ammad) Prevention of discrimination based on gender, social origin, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, language, etc.  (Ms. Veena Salman Masud)

Adapted training practices and injury prevention (Dr. K.A. Pervez Rizvi)

Emergency procedures in sports events (Dr. Ucksy Malick)

Through this seminar, Pakistan Olympic Association, has disseminated important facts and information for the athletes and coaches that is essential before and during the training of athletes. The athletes and coaches commended the efforts of Lt. Gen (R) Syed Arif Hasan President, Pakistan Olympic Association and members of the POA medical commission for organizing seminar for their awareness.

Mr. Muhamamd Khalid Mahmood, Secretary General POA, Dr. Waqar Ahmad, Chairman POA Medical Commission applauded the interest of the audience and appreciated the interaction between the speakers and athletes. Mr. Azam Dar, DDG PSB commended the efforts of POA for sports and assured that PSB shall do its utmost to elevate the standard of national sports in collaboration with POA.

Lt. Gen (R) Syed Arif Hasan, President POA and the Olympic family of Pakistan have expressed their gratitude to the H.E. Mr. Thomas Bach and H.E. Sheikh Ahmad Al Sabah Al Fahad, Chair of the Olympic Solidarity Commission for supporting the conduct of seminar and for the continuous support they have extended for the promotion of Olympic Movement in Pakistan.
