Subject: Master (M.A) in Olympic Studies (2021-2023) - Cologne University, Germany
Dear Madam/Sir,
I am pleased to inform you that the International Olympic Committee has offered the Executive Master of Arts Olympic Studies degree programme, which is implemented at the German Sport University Cologne in cooperation with the programme’s international partner universities. The M.A. Olympic Studies offers a multi- and interdisciplinary approach to its structure and teaching components, with a firm identification to the Olympic values. Its teaching contents about the diverse aspects of the Olympic Movement such as commercialisation, marketing, professionalisation, politicisation, internationalisation, administration and peace-building efforts are substantially linked with sport ethical and educational considerations
The M.A is a unique international part-time program in Olympic Studies. It is two-year program organized in six modules of six working days each and a thesis. The IOC Olympic Studies Center contributes to the development to the development of the academic project concept and the program is organized with the support of IOC. This M.A. Olympic Studies will start in September 2021.
Foregoing above, please nominate a suitable person who is holding a bachelor degree and have at least two years of work experience in an environment ideally relevant to the interest of the Olympic Movement and Olympic Education. Please send the detailed CV having at least two years of work experience as mentioned above on or before 30 September 2020.
