OCA/ POA Seminar for Empowering Athletes, 26-27 December 2022 at LCWU Lahore Back To Main

It gives me immense pleasure to inform that POA Athletes Commission and Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) is organizing the 3rd Seminar for “Empowering Athletes” 26-27 December 2022 (Monday & Tuesday) at Iqra Auditorium, Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) as joint venture with LCWU with the support of Olympic Council of Asia (OCA).

This seminar of POA is to promote awareness regarding the rights and responsibilities of the athletes under the pioneer program titled “Empowering Athletes” and is inspired from the “Olympic Agenda 2020+5” reiterating that the Athletes are the heart of the Olympic Movement. In particular, the Seminar would promote values including “Athletes’ Rights and Responsibilities & Further Strengthen Safe Sport, Protection of Clean Athletes and Career Transition of Athletes etc.

Prof. Dr. Bushra Mirza T.I. Vice Chancellor, Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) will inaugurate the Seminar on 26 December 2022 (Monday) at 1430 hours. Lt Gen (R) Syed Arif Hasan President POA will also grace the occasion.
