KARACHI: Talha Zubair clinched U18 title of Subh-e-Nau Ranking Tennis Series here on Monday at CDGK Sports Complex. Talha bagged the title effortlessly as his opponent Malik Hamza got retired despite a good show in first set. Talha was leading the match by 7-5, 2-1 score when Malik decided to retire. Meanwhile, Hassan Farooq claimed boys U-14 title after beating Dawar Rehan by 6-2, 4-6, 6-4 score after tough contest. Boys and girls U11 title was won by Shazil Malik, who defeated Muhammad Ahmed by 6-2, 6-1 score in the final. On Tuesday, Nomi Qamar will face Zohair Raza in men’s singles final while Maheen Dada will vie for ladies’ title against Hania Naveed.
