A Condolence meeting in connection with the untimely death of Abdul Khaliq Khan (Inna Lillah-e-Wainna Elah-e-Rajeoon) Ex – Secretary General and working Vice President of Pakistan Olympic Association was held at the office of Sindh Olympic Association, SSB Complex Nazimabad Karachi at 3:00pm on 2^nd February 2013. Syed Waseem Hashmi Chairman Sindh Olympic Association, Executive Committee Members of Sindh Olympic Association, Mr. Razik H. Rabbani from SSB and prominent Sports personalities including his pupils attended the meeting.

The personality of Abdul Khaliq Khan was huge and his services for sports were tremendous. He had been at the post of Secretary, Pakistan Volley Ball Federation for 30 years. Abdul Khaliq Khan was humble, Soft spoken and sports loving personality. He taught Sports Administration to countless sports personalities of Pakistan, who are serving in the field of sports. In his death Pakistan sports has lost a most dedicated and selfless worker, who always maintained his balance regardless of pressure. His sudden death sent the entire Olympic family into deep shock.

Dr. Syed Mohammad Ali Shah, President Sindh Olympic Association was shocked to hear this tragic news, he asked us to convey his condolence to Pakistan Olympic Association and the family of the deceased.
