11^TH INTERNATIONAL WOMEN CYCLING CHAMPIONSHIP       FROM 15^TH TO 17^THAPRIL, 2013 IN LAHORE                                      

On the first day of the Championship i.e. 15^th April, 2013 Three  track events were held at Cycling Velodrome adjacent  to Punjab Stadium Lahore. The results of these events are as under:-

1.      Avina of Punjab  won Gold Medal  with timings 48S.43P

2.      Sidra of HEC won Silver Medal with timings 50S.05p

3.      Asma of Sindh won Bronze Medal with timings 53S.51p

1.      Alvina of Punjab won Gold Medal with timings 5Mts.32S.81p

2.      Asma of HEC won Silver Medal with timings 5Mts.43S.03p

3.      Asma of Sindh won Bronze Medal with timings 6 Mts.39S.3p

2.      Ramna Liaqat of Punjab

Madam Salima Hashmi,Minister for Sports and Health Government of Punjab was the Chief Guest and graced the Opening Ceremony. There was a huge crowed of spectators at the  Velodrome who appreciated the  Girls Riders during the competitions. It was also excellent arrangements  of Punjab Police and Rescue 1122 at Velodeome.

 

Tomarrow two road events will be held at DHA phase VIII at 08:00am and one Track event will be held at cycling veloderome at 04:30pm.
