WADA publishes 2023 Prohibited List Back To Main

Dear Sir/Madam,

The IOC has informed that on 29 September, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) published the 2023 List of Prohibited Substances and Methods, which was approved by WADA’s Executive Committee during its meeting on 23 September 2022 and enters into force on 1 January 2023.

We are enclosing the following documents which are also available on WADA’s website:-

  • WADA Prohibited List 2023
  • Summary of Major Modifications and Explanatory Notes - 2023 Prohibited List of WADA
  • Substance placed on the 2023 Monitoring Program by WADA

All concerned are requested to please go through the documents and share this information with your athletes and coaches through Associations, Departments and Services for their awareness too. The National Sports Federations are further requested to conduct seminars engaging professionals to educate their athletes, coaches and officials and awareness on the updates of WADA Code.
