Afghanistan defeat Nepal as Whites stun Greens Back To Main

KARACHI: Afghanistan defeated Nepal while Pakistan Whites pulled off a big upset by defeating Pakistan Greens in matches of the International Invitational Handball tournament held at the Agriculture University in Faisalabad on Friday.
In the first game, Afghanistan played well against Nepal, beating them 2-0 with the set scores of 18-9, 15-14.
Pakistan Whites, carrying mostly youngsters, stunned Pakistan Greens, featuring mostly international players, 2-0 with the set scores of 24-22, 21-18.
On Saturday (today), Nepal will take on Pakistan Whites while Pakistan Greens will lock horns with Afghanistan.
The Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) president Lt General (retd) Syed Arif Hasan will also watch today’s matches.
